NASSAU, BAHAMAS

The Bahamas archipelago is an ecological oasis sprinkled over 100,000 square miles of ocean, starting just 50 miles off the coast of Florida. It comprises 700 breathtaking islands, over 2,000 rocks and cays, and boasts the clearest water on the planet—with a visibility of over 200 feet. You can see your toes as easily as you can the world’s third largest fringing barrier reef.

Nassau, the capital city of The Bahamas, is located on the 21-mile-long island of New Providence, the 11th largest island in The Bahamas. With the lure of a big city and the ease of tropical utopia, Nassau is full of culture and modern amenities.  The city boasts miles of spectacular beaches and stretches of vivid coral reefs perfect for snorkeling. You can shop, dine, and sight-see, particularly along busy Bay Street, or if you're a James Bond fan, visit the British Colonial Hotel, which was used as a filming location for two of the Sean Connery-era movies.  You also don't want to miss out on the famed Junkanoo Festival, a high-energy parade of spectacularly costumed dancers.  Visit Nassau today, to enjoy an experience of a lifetime.  Please click here to download a Visitor's Guide and Map of Downtown Nassau, Paradise Island, and Cable Beach.
